How to play & scoring

Place a pin on the map, then confirm. Closer guesses earn more of the 1,000 possible points. The reveal shows the city and your distance in kilometres. Zoom in, or enter coordinates with the keyboard.

Worked example

Place a pin, adjust it if needed, then confirm. A guess 100 km from the target earns more points than a guess 1,000 km away. The maximum is 1,000 points and the reveal reports your distance.

What to watch for

First identify the broad region, then use coastlines and nearby land shapes to refine your position. You can zoom or enter coordinates with the keyboard. Distance is measured to the city's reference point, not its boundary.
