Identify the animal from its qualifying countries. Select an animal and confirm once. Country shading represents national presence, not precise habitat boundaries.
Worked example
A shaded country means the animal qualifies somewhere within its borders. It does not mean the animal lives everywhere in that country. Choose the animal whose reviewed range matches the overall pattern, then confirm.
Examples illustrate the rules. They are not real country statistics or answers to your round.
What to watch for
Look at the combination of continents and separated regions. One large shaded country can hide a small actual habitat, so use several countries together rather than treating the map as a precise habitat survey.
