North or South?

Follow the cities north and south. Keep your streak alive.

How to play & scoring

Is the next city north or south of the first? Each correct answer adds one to your streak. Review the latitudes, then continue. A miss ends the run; you can finish and save at any time.

Worked example

A city at latitude 20° is north of one at latitude −10°. A city at −30° is south of both. Each correct comparison adds one to your streak; longitude does not decide the answer.

Examples illustrate the rules. They are not real country statistics or answers to your round.

What to watch for

Compare latitude rather than how close the cities appear on the map. Positive latitudes are north of the equator and negative latitudes are south. Review the coordinates before moving to the next city.
